Who we are and how to contact us
DKINGDOMFASHIONS operates https://www.dkingdomfashions.com, an online store powered by Shopify. This policy explains how personal information is used when you browse, order, contact us or subscribe to our updates. DKINGDOMFASHIONS is responsible for the personal information it handles for these purposes.
For privacy questions or requests, email issustarr@gmail.com or use our Contact Us page.
Information used by our store
- Orders and checkout: your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, selected products, payment status, transaction references and order history. Payment providers process the payment details needed for the payment method you choose.
- Messages and subscriptions: information you provide in enquiries, customer support messages, email sign-ups and your marketing preferences.
- Website activity: device and browser details, IP address, cookie identifiers and information about pages, products and interactions, collected through Shopify and configured analytics or advertising technologies.
Information comes from you, your use of the website and service providers involved in payments, fulfilment, delivery and store operations. We need relevant contact, payment and address information to process an order. If it is not provided, we may be unable to complete the purchase or delivery.
Why information is used
We use order information to take payment, arrange production and delivery, provide order updates and handle support, returns or disputes. We use technical and transaction information to operate the website, investigate fraud and protect the store. Subscription and interaction information supports the updates you request and helps assess how the website and marketing perform.
Where UK or European data protection law applies, processing relies on performing our contract with you; legal duties such as accounting and responding to lawful requests; legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the business; or consent for activities that require it, including applicable marketing and non-essential tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Service providers and information sharing
- Shopify: hosts the storefront and supports checkout, orders, customer records and other commerce functions. See Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy for its own processing.
- Printful and delivery providers: receive relevant order, recipient and delivery details to produce and deliver made-to-order products. See Printful’s Privacy Policy.
- Payment providers: process transactions using the method selected at checkout and handle payment security and transaction records.
- Customer communication and marketing services: the store has Shopify messaging tools and Klaviyo installed to support communications and marketing functions. Information shared depends on the features used, your interactions and applicable preferences.
- Analytics and advertising providers: configured tags can receive website interaction and device information for measurement and advertising, subject to applicable consent requirements.
Information may also be disclosed when necessary to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests or protect rights. Providers may process information on our behalf or, for some services, for their own purposes explained in their privacy notices.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses cookies and similar technologies for shopping functions, security, preferences, measurement and advertising. The storefront configuration includes a Google Analytics tag and advertising pixel configurations, including Meta/Facebook and TikTok. A configured tag does not mean that an advertising campaign is currently running.
Analytics and advertising technologies can record product views, basket activity, purchases, device identifiers and similar events to measure performance or personalise advertising. Where consent is required, non-essential tracking requires your consent.
Use the website’s privacy or cookie controls where available to manage preferences. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect shopping functions. If you cannot find the controls or want help with your choices, contact us. Browser settings alone may not stop every form of information sharing.
Further choices are explained by Google, Meta and TikTok.
Marketing choices and your right to object
You can object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us. Order and service messages needed to fulfil a purchase are separate from marketing subscriptions.
You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, including related profiling. We will consider such requests under the applicable law.
International processing
Our providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in Canada and the United States and in countries used for fulfilment or provider operations. Applicable safeguards depend on the provider and destination and may include recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. See provider privacy notices for their arrangements, or contact us for information about transfers involving your order.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on why information is needed: completing orders and returns, resolving enquiries or disputes, meeting tax and accounting requirements, and protecting against fraud or legal claims. Marketing records are retained according to your subscription choices and any need to record an opt-out. Technical records depend on the relevant service and cookie settings. Contact us for details relevant to your information. A deletion request may not remove records that must be retained for legal reasons.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Contact us to make a request; we may need information to verify your identity before responding.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to address a concern.
Children’s information
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. This privacy policy does not set a separate minimum purchasing age.
Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Please review this policy when using the store or providing personal information.
